Jefferson Township High School and the Department for Persons with Disabilities have worked together for several years. The students from JTHS have given back to DPD in many capacities including an annual food drive, an annual Carnival for Kids Fundraiser and hundreds of hours of volunteer service.
JTHS and DPD are happy to announce that together with Sparta High School they will be bringing you the 5th Annual DUNK for Disabilities Basketball Game which will be held on January 19th, 2018 at Jefferson Township High School. This game will feature rival Boys Varsity Basketball Teams Jefferson against Sparta, as they gear up for a playoff run. This year, in addition to the boys varsity team, the girls varsity teams will also be involved.
In addition to the game itself, there will be entertainment including a raffle to take a $10,000 half court shot, student performers, a door prize raffle, a free throw competition and more! Attendees can pay at the door. Please consider attending or sponsoring this fantastic event!
All proceeds will make a difference in the lives of people with developmental disabilities. Sponsoring the DUNK for Disabilities event is a great way to show your support for JTHS, Sparta High School and the Department for Persons with Disabilities.
